I like to be consistent and I think I achieve it; I'm talking about my photography and what my sub-optimal skills produce by way of photographs. I enjoy having a play around, twiddling knobs and buttons on my Olympus camera, but I don't expect to produce anything of any great standard; I'm happy with the mediocre results, a consistent averageness, that my skills produce and I think that's enough for me...I'm content with that.
Rather than the peaks and troughs that come with great results and bad ones I tend to float somewhere in between just sort of moving along on a trajectory of mediocre results that neither excite or disappoint...I know what to expect from the outset and rather than set that expectation high I just live in the moment and gain enjoyment from the process itself rather than putting pressure on the results.
Anyway, here's a few I took the other day, spectacularly average, and quite probably well below average...but exactly what I expected.
