Starting to prune the vine.

It's late autumn and winter is here so it's time to start pruning and I've done it with the vines so that I can have some delicious grapes in the summer.

I like to prune the vines at this time because it allows me to get shoots for my winter barbecues but also because it's easier to do the fungicide treatments later. In any case, it's not obligatory and you can prune them throughout the winter.
The theory says that if you prune now the vine will sprout with more force and if you do it at the end of winter it will do so with less force. So depending on your needs you can do it at one time or another.

Pruning a vine is slightly different from pruning a vineyard since in this case you don't leave shoots for the new shoot but you leave the old wood. The shoots with grapes will come out directly from it. It's also important to take into account how the sun will hit the grapes since they are much more delicate than those of wine varieties.

Thank you very much for supporting my blog and I look forward to your comments.!
