I did a fairly relaxed workout session this morning. I have had my best day for fitness. After Christmas I got loads of sports products and stuff so I decided not to be lazy today. I walked 5 miles played basketball for 2 hours and have done exercises and skipping let’s go I feel good. Today I also learned going low carb causes your body to release more water initially, which makes people happy because they think they are losing lots of fat. Or, that might be one of the reasons.
Going lower on carbs normally also mean you go higher on fat and protein, and a higher protein intake during weight loss helps preserve muscle mass. Glucose binds water in the body as it gets stored as glycogen in the muscles. As you go low carb the body breaks down the glycocen to get access to more carbs, so you drop water weight for as long as you eat low carby.Fat does not cause the body to hold more water.A good night's sleep awaits and the promise of a new day tomorrow.
