I find it difficult to get back into healthy activities once I let myself go and work out less and less, but once I incorporate healthy habits into my life bit by bit, it's getting easier to stick with it and improve physically and mentally.
I'm enjoying nature and stuff, touching grass, breathing in the fresh air and smells of flowers and other plants, and getting some sunlight.
Tomorrow I'm planning to do more bodyweight exercises/calisthenics and then go back to the gym.
I'm planning to increase my kcals slowly after that fast, mostly by eating lean protein, eggs, and beef broth, and then I'd like to try a carnivore diet. I know the anti-nutrients in plants aren't that bad in relation to the amount of vitamins you get along with them if you have a healthy gut/body that can handle those, though too much oxalates can be harmful by causing stones, e.g., kidney stones, etc. And you get all vitamins and minerals from red meat, seafood, eggs, organ meat, etc.
I'll probably miss having some pastry or pizza after a while. It was the same as when I did keto for half a year—my sugar/carb cravings got insane.
But I think the human body is very adaptable.
For the long run, I'm planning to just eat healthy whole foods, but I'd also have some less healthy foods, like in an 80/20 ratio, or 1-2 times a week. Even some broccoli with salt and butter or a fresh salad with cabbage and tomatoes and other veggies sounds delicious to me—maybe with some cheese and ham or chicken, and corn and onions, and olive oil and vinegar or noodles.
