Hello hivians. Welcome to my blog.
Come guys let's talk about mindfulness and self-discipline. These two are very different concepts but very funny how there's still a linkage between these two. And I've also come to see that they also build on each other.

Mindfulness can be seen as a process of one paying full attention to experiences during a particular time and in a particular place intentionally. I simply say it is being alert in your present moment. A mindful person watches out for thoughts, feelings, and sensations in the body and this is done through self awareness. Mindfulness is a practice that help decrease stress and increase executive function. When practicing mindfulness the people become aware of the distractions and the abilities to detect emotions, which is linkable to self-discipline.

When we talk about Self-discipline, it's the capacity to maintain control of the way you behave or the things you do and even the feeling within you at a certain conditions. One thing self discipline allows is creation, sustenance, focus and achievement of plans despite the barriers that come along.

The relationship

Mindfulness and self-discipline are strong partners when it comes to managing ones life. Mindfulness helps one to manage his or her emotions better and for a person that's involved with business just like me, a customer’s desire which are sometimes demanding which one might not be able to control due to lack of self-awareness. This self-awareness can really help with the formation of better self control and self-discipline. For example, a person that is mindful, if he comes across some environmental problem that wants to distract him or her, then he/she can take some time in order to identify this problem and be able to provide a rational control to his response. It is at this point that one must memorize self-discipline because this is the time when one has to manage all the temptations.

These two just work hand in hand. One practicing mindfulness is a simple exercise like you meditating or doing deep breathing needs some commitment as well as dedication. When one practices self-discipline,they will be able to develop habits that make one become conscious.

Lastly, The general concept of mindfulness, that is what people believe about mindfulness is that it involves paying attention to the happenings inside and around you in a controlled way so that self-control, self-discipline can be achieved. It is very evident that when one is self-disciplined it helps to boosta the level of commitment to how one practice what mindfulness is all about. All of them combined are the principles needed for an individual’s success to foster progress, enhance quality of life, and become happier. It's not only about speaking and writing about mindfulness and self-discipline, are you putting it into daily practice? What are you doing to show how dedicated and committed you are to it? When it is put into daily practice, there's evidence, there's also an increase of output and the result will give more strength and confidence to the individual and make life more purposeful.
