…..another day of Christmas shopping! 🎄🎁🎅
But first……..
I had a zoom meeting with my FFL group today which was good. Afterwards, we were going to head out for some Christmas shopping for the two children I got from the Angel Tree at church. We had a conundrum though as I was expecting two 65+ pound boxes of green coffee to be delivered by FedEx. They haven’t done a good job of delivering in the past as even though I’d leave the driveway gate open, they tend to drop packages at the gate in puddles of water AND it’s been raining here. So I called FedEx to ask if they could message the driver and ask him to make the effort to bring the coffee up to the house under cover of the porch. It’s over $600 worth of beans! They should do that anyway, but as I said, they usually don’t. So all was set for us to go. We got home and no coffee. It still shows it’s out for delivery, but frankly, it’s dark and we live pretty far out from the city. I think they’ll just not deliver. 🙄 That too, is a typical issue; excuses are made as to why they can’t deliver, which often are fabricated excuses that just aren’t true! Ugh! 😡
Back to shopping: I found the requested items (and a few items not requested) for the two children. I figure a nice little Christmas package with multiple presents would be nice. We topped out the trip with a stop at our favorite Starbucks. Tasty!😋
On the way home, we took a tour of Everson looking for Christmas lights. It was darker than the pictures look, as my phone has that enhanced sensitivity. These are from the city park
This next one is of a house in town. I would have gotten a better shot but there was a car parked in front that sort of messed things up.
That’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow is church first and then assess exactly where I am at with my shopping. This coming week will not afford me any time to go until next weekend.
