You have been contemplating or you've been wondering how to finally give your life to Christ and today is the day.
Before we get into how to give your life to Christ, I'm going to do it right now.
- I want to say you don't get clean to get in the shower, you get in the shower to get clean. Your life will become a reflection of your relationship with him once you accept him into your life, but it starts with accepting him.
- You don't have to trust God right now, you do have to have faith in him.
Trust comes from repeated proof, but in order to trust him, you got to first give him a chance and faith is believing something that you have not yet seen.
The same way that you wake up and set your alarm for the next day not knowing if you'll actually get there, it's the same way you get on a highway with people you've never met a day in your life, trusting that they will not crash into your car.
God has changed my life, I almost committed suicide last year, I'm not the same person, I'm healthier, and it's because he had to teach me that nothing else could love me the way that he loves me.
It's the question of God really cared about me because he never communicated with me like I heard and I didn't get the experiences that people got. Through my consistency, through giving him an opportunity time and time again to teach me who he was.
Romans 10:9.
Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, so right now we're going to say, Jesus, I believe that you are Lord.
Okay, you believe it? Proof is going to come, but it starts with belief.
Now it says, believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved.
Jesus loved you so much that he literally came down to earth. His father gave him up so that he could come down and take our place. Because we deserve to die because the wages of sin literally is dead.
So he said, you know what? I don't want them to die for what they've done and what they will continue to do. So I'm going to come down, die in place of them, and give them an opportunity to be with me forever if they just accept me into their heart.
He wants to do life with you. He wants to build a relationship with you. But it starts today. It starts right now. And if you made that conscious decision, then you are saved!
The Bible tells us that when one soul reaches salvation, all of heaven is rejoicing right now.
