Hey dear actifitters and readers,
I did a nice city walk with my mum in the town I grew up. In this report I'll show you some pictures of the city.
I arrived late on Friday night after being some hours on the road. We had breakfast together and went to buy some grocery afterwards.
The is one important POI when I'm back at my parents. It's a special regional sausage you only get in Thuringia in a decent quality.
It's the sausage in a bun and you have to go for mustard instead of ketchup. It's delicious 😋
After we did the shopping we walked through town.
The christmas market is almost ready to open.
The official opening ceremony will be on Monday. But I guess the opened inofficially already yesterday.
Behind this door is the local youth church which was quite important for me when I grew up.
The priest was a really cool guy with a full beard smoking all the time.
He died this autumn and people put candles and flowers in front. 🙏
The shopping center in town is a nice one. It's build in the former factory of Zeiss.
They build an amazing glass roof over the street. The stores are now in the former factory buildings and people can walk at the former streets save from rain and weather.
