Hey dear actifitters and readers,
this post is going to be the last post of my trip to Sardegna and is only about our day to travel home from Livorno to Germany.
We spent the night on the ferry from Olbia to Livorno. We are booked a seat in the sleeping hall and had much more luck compared to the ferry on the way to Sardegna.
The ferry must have been refurbished in the last year's. Everytging was modern and clean. And the best - they dimmed the light in the night and sleeping was comfortable.
We arrived at 7:30 am at the Italian coast.
Sun was about to rise and light was beautiful.
AT 8:30 am we left the ferry and found a free parking space near the city to have a coffee and a snack in the morning sun.
Livorno seems to be a nice Italien city but we had ten hours of driving so we didn't visit the city.
I only took some pics of the harbour and the way to the cafe.
The next big stop was in Como where we had a pizza at the lakeside.
Como and Lago di Como are definitely worth a trip.
Maybe we'll go there in spring for a weekend or so.
In Switzerland we took the route over the Gotthar pass and luckily we had some minutes without clouds hanging in the mountains.
We arrived at home at 8 pm ready to go to bed after a long day on the road.
