One day trip to Lake Zurich 🇨🇭- My Actifit Report Card: June 19 2024

in Actifit17 days ago

Hey dear actifitters and readers,

this report is about our one day trip to Lake Zurich in Switzerland.

My partner is going the for a work and study week.

She is staying at Kloster Mariazell. It's a monastery and still run by nuns. They providing so called "Learning days" in a quite atmosphere.

The monastery was build in the 17th century at a wonderful place close to the lake.

It's about two hours by car from home. We started at midday with our ride. Crossing the Black Forest and passing the Rhine waterfall near Schaffhausen.

Unfortunately it was raining while driving. I would have loved to stop at the Rhine waterfall. The last time I visited the place was almost 30 years ago.

When we arrived the weather was much better and we had a picnic at the lake after checking in.

Our plan was to go for a hike in the surroundings. But the monastery has its strict rules.

Lunch is at 6pm and all guests have to join. Instead of the hike we went for a short walk and got some sweets and drinks in the supermarket.

If you've read until here, please wish my partner a successful week with lots of positive results and many written pages for her essay.
