I read 50 emails in Listnerds and 23 ads in Leadsleap today.

Btw, I don't know why but when I surfed in Leadsleap there was a big red word for major changes announcement. It leads to https://leadsleap.com/blog/major-changes-in-our-ad-viewer-and-credit-system. That post was already published on September 29, 2020. Weird to see that one, but well...

Someone: "Wow, you have a lot of emails to read in 1 day?"

Today, I found 4 interesting posts in Listnerds:

Gadrian shares his insight on @liotes' challenge to check our Hivebuzz ranking. I did too and still far away from gadrian but happy to see him in the top 500 based on HP.

Ok, so I've been wondering and thinking about how I can create a "website" for a gaming community that me and a few friends have started, and one that we would like to see grow naturally, on Hive.

The other members of our clan/community aren't hive members, but I would to reach others both on and off chain! Do you think leadsleap would be a good fit for my endeavors?

I'm just now hearing about it through your post, but I briefly skimmed the site and read through the home page, I just thought I'd ask your opinion!

Leadsleap in my POV:

Leadsleap is useful for sharing websites 👍
Leadsleap is best to kill time while earning some cents 🤣
Most people in Leadsleap don't see the ads in Leadsleap 🤷‍♂️
Leadsleap isn't HIVE-based and no hive post I ever found on Leadsleap until today 😴.

I think if you want to share it with other Hivers, you can try Listnerds. However, it doesn't go well right now like before. On the bright side, There are still some members who are active to see the emails in Listnerds.

First, sorry I don't have any expertise in making a public gaming community so I just give my opinion.

Create and grow are 2 different things for me. I created my private gaming community for me and my friends only in Discord. A new person can join with an invitation only. What we need is communication, sharing, and scheduling. Discord has provided all of what we need. If you want to create a gaming community, I don't think a website is necessary because what's the purpose of the website again? The function? To grow it naturally, means you need to share it to gain new members which you can do by posting on your blog with a special tag and sharing it with Listnerds could be helpful. If you stop to share and promote, it won't grow anymore.

If you want to reach your clan/community to join Hive, I think you need to teach them first. At least, they already create the HIVE account and then post your community-related things with a special hashtag like teamph, hhguild, or something like that.

Overall:

You need to know what's the purpose or function of your website.
Making it simple is better than making it complicated, especially for your community
Start by teaching them to become Hivers
You can learn by seeing others do it like teamph, hhguild, and others.
