Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

I hope this Monday finds everyone happy and well, as we go into the last full week before Christmas!

Life around our place is returning to some semblance of "normal" now that the Hoomans are done with all their gallivanting around and doing "shows." The Dad-Hooman is unpacking all their travel stuff and putting it away for the winter, and I am happy for that because I don't like too much turmoil and change in my life!

What is also nice about this is that now we (meaning "the Hoomans!") can finally get down to putting decorations up in the house and getting more into the holiday spirit.

The Christmas stuff is going up!

I just hope the Mom-Hooman doesn't take it upon herself to also "decorate" us cats with collars with little bells on them and such nonsense... I just don't find it very funny, and that's not what I mean by "Christmas Spirit!"

However, I do enjoy it very much when they sit at the big crafts table and make decorations, and I can help with all those little bits and pieces! I can't wait to show Shangri and Nala how to properly help the Hoomans with such activities!

Shangri is getting so big!

We will have a few days of relative rest and quiet before the Son and Daughter Hoomans arrive on Friday... and I shall thoroughly enjoy that!

Of course, the Dad-Hooman still has to tend to his "work," but that's a relatively minor detail. I am hoping I can sidetrack him into taking more pictures of us and sharing them with people here on Hive!

Because — after all — pretty much all days can be treated as "Caturday," if you just handle the situation right!

Our young cats are really growing up... they definitely don't look like "kittens" anymore, and I am noticing that young Shangri is almost as big as me, now! Of course, he has that big bushy tail, but when we play-wrestle I've notice that we are much more evenly sized.

He's a very sweet natured cat though so it is not like we are having actual territorial disputes... and the Hoomans have made sure that there are always far more comfortable sleeping nooks than there are cats.

Meanwhile, we are tentatively looking forward towards 2025 and setting goals for the new year. Not sure what 2025 will hold for us all, but we do know for sure that it is coming, whether we like it or not!

Seems a little strange to me that Bitcoin keeps going up, while our own Hive token is actually trending down again... I'd hate to think we are on a sinking ship here that's just irrelevant to the greater world.

Well, not going to lose sleep with such thoughts... besides, I think the Hoomans are about to go have lunch, so I'm going to check that out... just in case there are any treats!
