It Is Not Good To Swear. #weekend-engagement week 211

Character is an asset that we can't buy with money. It is worth more than many $Bitcoin. Character is not attributed to. Character is earned. Character is earned by constantly and consistently building a reputable and reliable attributes for one’s self. Character needs to be cultivated. Character is a virtue that everyone should crave after.

Swearing Is an exercise born out of lack of confidence and trust. People swear as a way of convincing the other partner to believe and accept what he/she has to offer. Swearing Is not born out of a trusted heart. Those who swear are those who are not easily believed by others. They swear to regain lost trust. They swear put affirmations on their claims.

Affirmations and trust could have been gain if there were a trusted reputation in the person involved. So, I believe that building a reliable and dependable character will pay more than swearing before people in order that they could believe us.

This topic about whether swearing is ok or not from @galenkp for the week 211 weekend-engagement is nice. It is a topic that seeks to dig into our character foundations and our truthfulness. I chose to engage with this one because I personally believe in having a well disciplined and honest life. The to the prompt is here

There is Moral Indecency In Swearing

In my culture, those who swear often do not look serious before people. They do not consider those people as serious minded persons. Also, the people that swear regularly do so because people scarcely believe that. So, I think that the instinct to swear comes from a mindset with dishonest moral standards. It is someone who knows that he/she won't be easily accepted that resorts to swearing.

Religious Beliefs

In the christian religion of which I am an affiliate, we are forbidden to swear. We are rather taught to keep to our words and be honest and truthful before people. Honesty and trustworthiness are our character foundations so swearing Is highly forbidden.

It Pays To Truthful

Being truthful pays. A truthful person does not put in too much effort before he/she can win favor from others. A truthful person puts in little energy to win approval. People will naturally subscribe to whatever comes from a truthful and honest person. So, instead of swearing, let us learn to build a reputation of truthfulness for ourselves.

These are my thoughts about the attitude of swearing. Thank you for reading my blog.
