Which is my favorite community on hive? I can't really say. I engage with communities based on their rules and purpose of creation. Honestly, every community in the Blockchain is unique. They were all created to enhance proper and coordinated data collation.

No Community Has Important Above The Others
Yes, I think so because I believe that everyone has what he or she takes interest in writing and discussing about. Because more people patronize a community does not make it the best. The interest of everyone per time determines which community such a person will get to at that time. Some communities seem to have more engagement while others don't. The cause of this is because many people have ideas to share which are only appropriate for that particular community while the other one doesn't have much people here who understands what to share with such a community.
The Content Determines The Community
The type of content I have to publish at a particular time determines which community I will go. I choose the community based on their purpose and rules. For instance if I want to post about shadows and reflections, I go to the #shadow hunters community. If I want to discuss religion matters based on my religious beliefs (which is actually what I understand to write about most), then I go to MCGI Cares Hive Community. When I want to discuss issues relating to ladies and mothers, I go to the Ladies Of Hive Community. Every community is unique and highly esteemed by me.
At the times when I have funny and exciting weekend's experiences which are worth sharing here, I go to the #Weekend Engagement Community. Some times, I could have subject that are purely related to my country so I engage with the #Hive Naija Community. I mean every community is highly important.
The Contests And Prompts Affect The Traffic
I have also observed that the ideas of contests and prompts in many communities increase the traffic in their communities. The basic truth about this is that many people on the blockchain just don't know what contents to create or don't have ideas flowing freely in their minds. So, whenever the contests and prompts are announced, they receive directions from there. They start thinking and putting up ideas and knowledge they might have gotten in the direction. That encourages their engagement on the blockchain and that also drag them to those communities which give those prompts. I must confess that I was triggered to become active in the little way I am by attempting to enter contests and answer prompts.
