Hi, Hive! I've been working on a new business project since last week, so my time is woefully short and I'm thoroughly busy with mailing lists, selecting tenders and other complicated stuff, but yesterday I had a day off with some friends, which I spent out of town.
We decided to look for a new route to the ponds and went to the outskirts of town to see the roads near the coal mines. Our town was once famous for the coal industry, so there are a lot of these "mountains" around town.
Since most of the mines are now closed these roads look abandoned, but nevertheless, it is very interesting to walk there.
Closer to lunchtime it got very hot, so I had to use a panama, because the sun was about +35'C
On the way back we went to a vape shop. I'm trying to quit smoking, so I bought this device and a couple of liquids - with coffee and pine cones. The last one smells really funny and leaves a nice cool feeling in my mouth :)
Along the way I went to the post office and got a delivery from my friends from Underdog Bar in Moscow with a couple of new sauces, so this weekend we were going to have an Asian-style BBQ. The first sauce (Japan BBQ) is a soy sauce pumped with spices and juice of the popular Japanese yuzu, and the second (Tiger Balm) is made in Thai style with galangal, raspberries and hot habanero peppers.
Our girls are already thinking up recipes, so I'll be sure to share what we got.
So that's the kind of day out we had. I'm going to be pretty darn busy until Saturday, so I wish everyone a great mood and wonderful blogging.
