This summer, I’ve noticed that I haven’t been going out much, and I have some extra money that I haven’t touched for three months now. I’ve been thinking about options for how I could use it.
FIRST 🥇
My first idea was to put it in HBD, but then I noticed the APR dropped from 20% to 15% — I just realized that today.
SECOND 🥈
The second option is to buy a PS5. 😂 I’ve always wanted this console, but I feel like it might go to waste because my working hours are too long, and I’d only be able to enjoy it once a week. So, I don’t think that’s the best use of the money.
THIRD 🥉
Third, I could buy Bitcoin. This would basically be a long-term plan: just keep buying every month, regardless of the price, in hopes that it will go up in a few years. But then I wonder if I’ll have enough time for that.
FOURTH
Fourth, I asked my friends what I should do with the money. It’s not much, but I wanted their opinions. One of them suggested buying gold. 🥇 I think this might be a good investment because currencies tend to lose value, but gold seems to be more stable. The price goes up little by little; it does drop sometimes, but not as badly as currencies.
FIFTH
Option five is just to save it in a UAE bank and wait until I need it. To me, this seems like the best option. The UAE currency is stable and doesn’t fluctuate much. If you check on Google, you’ll see that the price is quite steady.
SIXTH
Option six is to increase my Hive Power (HP). This is my last option. So far, I’ve earned back my initial investment of around 450 Dirhams (about 133 USD) that I used to raise my HP when I first started with Hive. I’m thinking about raising my HP further, but it’s just a plan for now.
