WHY LAYER 2 SUCKS - WITNESS UPDATE
Where do I go with this post? I had a very interesting, educational, couple hour chat, with someone last evening as I hunt for people to support @thebbhproject Witness.
Did I learn anything new that I have not learned in my 5 plus years here on the blockchain? Maybe a few things or it refreshed everything I already new.
One thing that did solidify in my brain is that being on chain and dealing with people is absolutely no different that in the offline world.
People look at things diffrently, people have oppinions how how things should work, people believe in stuff and they don't. And you know what that is fine, that is what keeps the world diverse and all of us on our toes.
But one subject came up, I have touched on it is the past in blog posts, that I agree with 100 percent.
Layer two tokens suck, suck big time, and why do I think that is?
As a builder, with my own Tribe, my own tokens, the main reason is simple. I am not bringing enough or not showing enough value to people in what I am building.
That being said building takes time. It takes time to build a successful economy. It takes time to get people, enough people to believe in what you are doing. It is our job as builders, business people, and make no doubt about it, building on Hive is a business. Owning a Hive account is a business if you believe it or not.
The above causes what has been a problem on Layer two, well, since layer two tokens, project have been around on HIve.
We have most people wanting stuff for free, then they take their free stuff and sell it. Don't care what price they sell at, they dump layer two tokens to get a few more HIve.
Do I blame them, NO, as I stated above it is my fault.
But one thing is for sure, the offline world is 100 percent reflected on HIve. We have the 1 percent and the 99 percent. We have the 1 percent who believe in the blockchain, believe in what they are building on layer two. Then we have the 99 percent who don't get it. Plain and simple.
What can we do as builders to change this? We have to keep building, we have to stay the couse with our mission statements and our business plans and over time bring and show the 99 percent the value in what we are doing. It is that simple.
If your project is failling on Hive, don't blame everyone else, look deep at yourself, what you are doing, why it is failing, and put a plan in place to fix it.
I am not saying I am failing, far from it, I am extreamlly happy with where The BBH Project is headed. Do I wish it would happen quicker, always, that is the business mindset. But I also know it takes time.
As Hive grows, if we build along side (or on top of it) our layer 2 project will be successful. No doubt about it.

WITNESS UPDATE
It is always exciting to wake up to support :), 15 days as a witness now. Now the hard part begins. Getting the word out to more people.
This morning we are in 81th place. We have 3,768,799 HP support up from 3,750,884 in HP support yesterday. To get into 80rd place we need another 186,341 in support.
I kow we can do it :)

DEDICATION
Let me start with the fact that I have been on this blockchain now for 1887 days. And I am extreamly proud to say my posting streak continues. I have now done at least one post a day for 1887 strait days. Yes, from the 1st day I joined. I have not missed a day.
If you are trying to build something on Hive, if you are trying get noticed on Hive. This is the type of dedication it takes.
I tell you this now every day now to try and motivate you. As your noticed I already have the dedication.
BPUD - THE BBH PROJECT TRIBE POWER UP DAY
The BBHO power up day is going to be the 20th of every month. The same as Cent is on the 10th and Leo for LPUD is on the 15th. Requirments will be only 100 BBHO to power up. BBH has to be used in one of the first 5 tags in your long form posts. If not, it will not show up on The BBH Project front end.
Almost four years since I started working on the BBH Project, mostly in the back ground. I finially got to the point where I can say: I am just getting started. lol.
A lot of work a head, a lot of ideas I want to get done, a lot more building to do.
Hang on people it is going to be an exciting, all be it, slow ride, as building goes. I cannot wait to see what the next 4 years brings.

CURATION TRAIL
No new members to the Curation Trailover in the last 24 hours. We are now 241 strong. That is awesome. The new goal of 250 members by the end of the year is looking real good.
What is the point of a curation trail and why should I join?
Any post that I up vote, everyone that is part of my trail will also up vote that post. And being 241 members now you can possibly get 2401upvotes.
When you join the trail you can set your trail vote to what ever you want. Even if you set the up vote to 0.01. Imagine if we had 1,000 people in the trail that would be 10.00 to the post. Fantastic stuff. A little difference can end up making a giant difference to a Hivian.
That being said, we do have 241 members, I know not all are active, some have passed, but the majority of use are still here.
Imagine if we could get 100 people doing just 1 blog post about the curation trail. Do you think the membership would go up quickly?

BBH RELEASE PRICE
I now set the release price of BBH to the markets daily. It is an open market so sometimes you can pick up deals when others are selling cheaper than my set price. The goal is to have 1 BBH = 1 Satoshi. I do a bit of math and get the price. If Bitcoin is stronger than Hive then the price of one BBH goes up and if Hive is strong than Bitcoin then the price goes down.

Why am I selling BBH MIners:
As you read above I am shifting focue. Miner sales will be used not in make investments that are profitable and/or HP for the @hive-112281 account to give it more voting power.
But for you, the people buying the miners, I have been asked, what is in it for you? And here is my answer:

The biggest question I always get is why all the time and effort to give back?
Because in giving back the future will give back to me. Once BBH is doing what I want it to do, be it next year, 5 years, 10 years, I should be able to generate a passive income for myself.
DRIP DAY
Saturdays are Drip Day. That means it is/was drip day. Now if you are not a regular reader of mine you are wondering what is drip day.
I run a income token and tipping bot all in one. The token is BBH. Every Saturday I payout the people holding BBH tokens. Passive income if you like. I like to call it a 'drip' of a token(s) to the people that own BBH tokens. And unlike some all you have to do is own it. No staking, no nothing.
If you own 10 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive. If you own 5,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive and the Alive token, and CTP Tokens. If you own 10,000 or g more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive, Alive, CTP, and $LEO:$0.03:$0.10 tokens.
All just for owning BBH. There are two ways you can get BBH. First you can buy them from the open market. I use TribalDex myself.
Or they can be tipped to you. The great part about BBH tipping is that when you tip a token to someone else you do not loose any of your own. There is a central pool that supplies them.
And a third way to get BBH would be people gift them to you. There was an update to the tipping bot. If you now tip 1 BBH you get 1 BBH also. How facking awesome is that.

In a 24 hour period, reset at new day UTC. There are currently five levels of tipping.
Level 1 = 1000 BBH holdings = 1 tip per day you can send
