Today was one of those walks that will stick with me for a while. I headed out with my youngest son to explore the forests and heather on the other side of the canal, and it turned into much more than just a chance to get those steps in.
We ended up walking over 10k steps, and along the way, we talked about life, what it means to grow up, and all the dreams and uncertainties that come with it. It’s crazy how these simple moments can lead to such deep conversations.
But it wasn’t all serious talk; we had our fun too. I had my new Dji Osmo Action 4 with me, and I couldn’t resist playing around with it. I captured some stunning shots—nature was definitely showing off today! There’s something about the way the light filters through the trees, the stillness of the water, and even the surprise of finding a vibrant caterpillar that just grounds you.
I’ll also be sharing a little video we made in the forest. For now, I’m just soaking in the peace that comes after a walk like this. It’s these moments that remind me why I love getting out there—nature has a way of connecting us back to ourselves and to each other. 🌳📷
