Hello friends and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and learn how events developed during my journey in the world of graphite or in post at the time when I was just starting my acquaintance with such an area of art as drawing with pencils with a graphite rod.
Today I want to present you a drawing from those days, and it was December 2022, for me it was a month full of inspiration because I drew every day.
So, my next work was a drawing that illustrates the 10th chapter of the Book of Genesis of the Old Testament which can be called in tune with the line from this chapter - The genealogy of the sons of Noah.

I must admit that reading the 10th chapter which is essentially a list of all the generations after Noah I was confused and the first impression was that I would never be able to draw this.
But the idea of the drawing was somewhere in the air it was nearby and it was close to my heart.
In essence this list of people's names spoke about people who were dear to the heart of God but there were also those who were rejected by God because of their deeds.
It is similar to porcelain or clay dishes some of which are carefully stored they are even used as decoration stored in a sideboard and there are dishes that slip out of hands fall on the floor and break.
As you remember God molded Adam from clay and as a child I was fond of clay modeling it is close to me.
In addition as you remember in the ninth chapter of Genesis it is said that Noah planted vineyards and the vine is similar to how events develop when more and more new generations of people appear.
Thus the drawing featured a sculptor symbolizing the Creator clay pottery a grapevine and an abyss into which fragments of clay shards fall or those who were rejected by God.
But you know initially it was wandering in search of light without a clear understanding of where to go and how to find a solid support for further work in these flashes of light.
For me any drawing that I take seriously is a risk a risk of ruining everything I have already done at some point it is both interesting and a little scary lol.
This is taking into account the fact that during my work I rely only on my imagination and memory it is unacceptable for me to look for third-party samples of what I will draw somewhere.
I have a feeling that if I use third-party sources I will deceive both myself and those who will look at my drawings and this is not my goal.
I want to one day using only my imagination draw anything and this is what I strive for.
The moment when I decide that the drawing is finished is a very happy moment.
But often after a while I return to this or that drawing and make my own adjustments based on new experience in drawing.
