Morning with prayer: Day Six. The process has begun.
It is still dark I really want to sleep which I will probably do after I pray and write this post.
You know lately I have not really focused on any particular time for my work to achieve a designated goal but sometimes you need to make some insignificant sacrifices to see the result of your work.
You know what I was thinking about this morning... a carpenter, or an engineer a steelworker or someone else who sees a specific result after their work relatively quickly achieves it and this brings joy to people.
It is very pleasant to see the result or the fruit of your labor quickly.
But it is not always so.
When it comes to prayer it is quite difficult to understand how close you are to your goal especially if the prayer is narrowly focused on achieving a specific goal.
A day passes in prayer, two, three and nothing changes?
It's starting to feel like wandering in a dense forest where you can't find the right path?
But even in such a dense forest there are some landmarks that tell you whether you are on the right path or not.
It's not often that prayer is like steps that we can easily climb up or down although that does happen in some cases.
But as a rule when it comes to spiritual warfare, it's not an easy process but if you're willing to test your patience the results won't take long to come.
Our prayer is directed to God, but you need to understand that its listener will also be the one with whom you are fighting, and he will definitely be plotting against you.
If you carefully read the book of Exodus of the Old Testament you will notice the principles of God's work.
Every time Moses informed Pharaoh of the impending plagues and demanded that the Jewish people be released from Egyptian slavery God hardened Pharaoh's heart.
If you see that after your journey in prayer the hearts of your enemies are hardened you are definitely on the right path.
There was a time when I did not understand this but today I am happy to see how my enemies are trying their best to annoy me.
I gave it to God and I will not wish for my enemies to wither their hands that do not press buttons no, God has many plagues for them and one day my enemies will go to bed and wake up with my name on their lips they will hate me as much as possible but then they will hate themselves for being born into this world.
This is not an easy period it is like wandering in the desert but God gave manna every day to the Jews and will not forget about those who fight in the spiritual battle.
Glory and praise to You, Father Almighty!
I give into Your holy hands all my weaknesses, all thoughts about my enemies and every judgment!
Your judgment is the most just and impartial!
You judge and you have mercy!
In You is all the truth of the world and I trust in this!
Be glorified forever, Amen!
