No work or other exercise for me today as I had a little biopsy operation in the hospital in Bath.
I was up at 5:30 and my wife drove me into Bath and then we walked to the hospital. I had to arrive at 7:00 and when we did arrive there was quite a queue outside of the outpatient department.
Once in, I was quickly seen and informed that my operation was scheduled to be the first of the day. About 8:30 I was taken to the operating theatre and the next knew I was coming around in the recovery suite at about 10:30.
I was then monitored for a couple of hours until they considered that I was OK to go home. I then had a slow wobbly walk back to the car with my wife, and then she drove us home.
I'm currently sitting on the sofa watching some YouTube videos on the TV. I have a wicked sore throat due to some laser action during the operation, but apart from that, I'm feeling OK.
Sorry that there are no pictures today, and I probably won't be leaving the house tomorrow, so maybe not tomorrow either.
