Mmmm this looks so good. I miss those Chinese lauriat celebrations we used to have way back when. I loved the abalone and scallop dishes with mushroom. Ahhh brings back a lot of good memories indeed. I hope you enjoyed your homemade dish. I'd love to get a taste of iit too. LOL! Happy new week ahead!

I think the big fat mushrooms requires either pressure cooker or boiled and soak overnight in order for it to be tender.
This is something I will need to write down and remember next time.
