Hello and welcome to today's activity report¹
Today I explored the city of Rishon LeZion.
Rishon LeZion (Hebrew: רִאשׁוֹן לְצִיּוֹן (audio) (help·info), lit. First to Zion, Arabic: راشون لتسيون) is a city in Israel, located along the central Israeli coastal plain eight kilometres (5 mi) south of Tel Aviv. It is part of the Gush Dan metropolitan area.²
I often cycle to this city because it is very cycling friendly and it has a lot of parks to explore.
With modern city planning and green oriented open spaces, it has a lot of nature scenes to enjoy.
On my way, I took some photos of beautiful green paths.
Found these Thunbergia grandiflora flowers.
Thunbergia grandiflora is an evergreen vine in the family Acanthaceae. It is native to China, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indochina and Myanmar and widely naturalised elsewhere. Common names include Bengal clockvine, Bengal trumpet, blue skyflower, blue thunbergia, blue trumpetvine, clockvine, skyflower and skyvine.³
Although it was a very hot day and unusually short trip, I found a lot of new places to enjoy and appreciate.
Thank you for reading and your support!
