Hello friends, this is a special edition hence we are talking about Peace. Talking of peace, we know that we can't live in any community if there is no peace. Even as a family we can't stay together when there is no peace. I have seen alot of people run away from home just because there is no peace. If we need Peace, then someone gat to be a fool.
Peace can be seen as Harmony in personal relations. When there is no peace you will discover that there would be alot if disagreement, discomfort, disharmony, war here and there. The question is, what can we sacrifice for peace?
Peace needs our sacrifices and we all know that this kind of sacrifice does not come easy. It cause alot.
Recently because I know what it takes to have peace I decided to let something very important to me go just because I want to have peace. Yes and it is my RIGHT. I decided to allow someone cheat me and never went to make trouble because I want to have peace. Do you know what it means for your right to be taken away from you? That is a very difficult one. But I also learnt my lessons from the incident.
WHAT HAPPENED?
We had an agreement with someone to give me something in exchange of money. I did not waste time to pay the money because I know the person in question. I never had any second thought that he was going to cheat me or do something very bad. So I paid in full. That was the biggest mistake I made that very day.
Two days later when I called to find out if the guy has done what he was paid to do, I discovered that he did is half way and never showed up. I tried reaching out to him so that he will come and complete what he said he will do, but he just kept making empty promises that he never fulfilled up till now. I waited for days and it turned to weeks and to months. I thought of doing alot of things to the guy so as to get my money, but I couldn't carry out any traits that I made. I just made all the traits to so if I can get my money back, but all to no avail. I decided to let go. Though some of my friends advice me to arrest the guy so that he can cough out that money. But I can just see myself arresting someone because of #25,000. I said to myself I can forget this money. Why make trouble with him allow God to judge him. That was exactly what I did. I just let him go and never disturbed him again.
Secondly, I allowed a thief that is already caught red headed to go so that I can have peace. Some years back some group of boys came to my house early on Sunday morning when we have gone to church and they stole all valuables that they can find in my house causing us a major set back in business and life entirely. We quickly reported the case to the police station and our statement was taken. After some weeks some arm robbers were caught stealing in another person's house. At the place of questioning they mentioned that they were responsible for packing away all the valuables in my house. We were alerted immediately and we rushed with hope that at least we will get some of our properties back. We were wrong. In fact it became another way for the police officers to make money out of us. Asking us to bring money to fuel their car for investigation. Sometimes we even buy food items and take to the police officers as instructed. When we saw that it was turning against us. We decided to let them remain with the police officers. Whatsoever they police officers wants they should do with them. We never check back and we are not interested in the case. That was how our property Worth more than a million naira four years back when into the blues. But we still thank God that we have our lives.
In conclusion, we have to make alot of sacrifices in other to have peace. When there is peace everyone will be happy.
